Abstract

Field surveys and observations carried out during 1980~1981 reveared that South Lungnan is a newly discovered over-summering region of Puccinia stiiformis.It locates in the southeastern part of Gansu province,including Wudu,Wenxian,Chengxian,Dangchang,Zhouqu and Diebu counties and probably Kangxian county.This region joins the oversummering regions of Puccinia striiformis in Northwest and Southwest of China and plays an important role in exchanging the inoculation of stripe rust between the two areas.
