Abstract

The initial inoculation with Fusarium semitectum, F.culmorum, F.sambucinum, F.sporoirichioides reduced the mean disease index of diseased plants (by Challenge inoculum) significantly. It suggested that the above four Fusarium species were effective inducers. The level of induced resistance was affected by the time interval between initial and challenge inoculation considerably, the best induction efficiency appeared to be 5 days interval.
