Symptoms of bacterial wilt on Anthurium andraeanum in Danzhou city of Hainan province were described. On the basis of investigation concerning morphology, staining reaction, cultural characteristics, physiological and biochemical properties, the pathogen of bacterial wilt was identified as Ralstonia solanacearum(Smith) Yabuuchi et al.. As a result of the host range test, it was showed that the isolates were belonged to race 1.
